Dry Type Transformer
KPRS manufactures Dry type transformer both in class 'F' & 'H' insulation up to 1000 KVA, 11 KV and in general confirm to IS:11171/2026-1997. The transformers are housed in ventilated enclosure with tappings on HV side in steps of 2.5% by either off-circuit link or Tap Changer. The termination can be Base Bushings, Cable Boxes or Bus Duct.
As dry type transformers are maintenance free & fire safe, it can be installed in a very hard trying conditions like dusty, humid, salt ladden, chemical or fire risk and are in use for Hotels, High rise buildings, Hospitals, Factories Commercial & Entertainment complexes, Oil Refineries, Chemical & Fertilizer plants, Steel industries, Marine & Offshore projects, Power plants, Utilities and compact substations, Remote Installation, Fire prone areas where oil filled transformers pose a fire risk and wherever safety is the first priority.
