Control Transformer or Step Down
Control transformer is also a voltage transformer. The transformer consists of a closed magnetic E&I core, made up of high resistive sillicon core with one or more windings. The winding which is connected to the AC supply service is called primary. The current passes though the primary winding produces an alternating field in the core which is called secondary. The contol transformer is distributed from 440V or 250V Ac. It is used in Electronic systems and Industries.
